Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (18:30–07:00) | Onsite | Schedules of 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 available | Every other weekend | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform and interpret cardiac rhythm/EKG monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
- Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
- Complete online computer-based learning (CBL) modules during orientation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no substitutions)
- AHA ACLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no substitutions)
- Demonstrated cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Relias EKG test must be completed within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both attempts or non-completion within the timeframe may result in cancellation
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge nurse experience
- Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are also welcome to apply)
