    Contract | Full-Time | Days, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float across multiple acute care units including med-surg, ortho, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology/telemetry, surgery, and cardio-thoracic
    • Provide direct patient care with an average patient ratio of 5:1
    • Independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (two attempts allowed)
    • Administer and manage IV therapy in accordance with unit protocols
    • Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient populations, and workflows
    • Most Fridays will be required; no extended time-off requests or specific schedule requests will be accommodated
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact license eligibility)
    • Minimum 4+ years of recent acute care experience
    • At least 1 recent, successfully completed travel nursing contract
    • Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
    • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be placed at a local rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 5+ years of previous float pool experience
    • Psychiatric nursing experience highly preferred
    • Step-down unit experience preferred
    • Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
