Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | Start Time 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit as part of a float pool, adapting to varying unit needs as assigned
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting findings accurately in the EMR system
- Float to other units within the facility as needed to support staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities within EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a float pool environment
- Strong teamwork orientation and reliability in a fast-paced clinical setting
