Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients during night shift hours
• Manage and monitor drip medications including heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Expected to work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois state license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac drips
• Familiarity with trauma center environments in a regional health system
