    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and continuously monitor condition trends throughout the hospital stay
    • Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapies, and manage wound care and specialized equipment
    • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
    • Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
    • Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies escalate
    • Participate in a float pool, providing nursing coverage across applicable units as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
    • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience (required)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Proficiency or ability to work within Cerner EMR
    • Willingness to participate in a float pool assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a large acute care hospital environment
    • Familiarity with cardiovascular or neuroscience patient populations
