Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
- Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry environment
- Adapt to a high patient turnover rate, characteristic of a rapid admission unit model
- Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
- Work independently while maintaining safe, high-quality nursing care standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
- Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rapid admission or high-acuity medical-surgical unit
- Demonstrated ability to manage high patient turnover efficiently
- Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
