Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner; Altera charting system experience is preferred
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required facility orientation modules during the onboarding period (approximately 6–8 hours, non-billable)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand required at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications must be verifiable at time of submittal
- Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place to do so within that timeframe
- Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Altera electronic health records / charting system
- Previous travel nursing assignments in similar acute care settings
