- **Unit Profile:**
- Floor: 6th
- Trauma Level: 2
- Specialty: Medical/Surgical
- Shift: 7p – 7a
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
- Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps
- EHR: Cerner
- **Essential Requirements:**
- Michigan State License and ACLS Certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical unit
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- **Skills and Abilities:**
- Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy also acceptable)
- Clean and professional appearance; tattoos must be covered, and excessive jewelry is not permitted
