Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Transplant Unit – Wisconsin

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 4x12 schedule available. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Patient ratio of 4:1.

Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Telemetry experience and interpretation of dysrhythmias required
- Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Key Clinical Skills
- Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing
- Central line and PICC line management
- Blood product administration and heparin/insulin protocols
- BiPAP/CPAP management and oxygen administration
- Pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure care
- Transplant-specific patient care and education
- Management and interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias
- Wound care, surgical drain management, and ostomy care
- PCA pump management and IV therapy

Additional Information
Floating to other units may be required as needed.
