Travelers will float within the tower to orient to the facility while also attending unit-specific training until the floor opens for patients. The unit features digital door signs, digital whiteboards, virtual nursing support, and virtual patient monitoring for high-risk patients to enhance communication, improve patient safety, and support bedside nurses. The diverse patient population offers opportunities to build strong clinical judgment, time management, and critical thinking skills while gaining experience across multiple specialties. RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs. Weekends: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Local candidates are not accepted. Travelers are first to float. RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. Scrubs are mandatory. 100% nicotine-free facility. Job responsibilities may include managing various drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing care for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The new unit will include more advanced technology for patient interaction and care management. This position will support a range of medical diagnoses.
