Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Notes

12-hour day shifts with a guaranteed 48 hours per week. Overtime is applicable after 48 hours of work.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Every other weekend required
• Holidays may be required if needed

Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family education, and provides leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other personnel to maintain high standards for professional nursing practice within the clinical setting.

Patient Population

Adult and Geriatric patients.

Dress Code

Professional scrubs provided by the traveler (no logos allowed).

Electronic Medical Record System

Experience with Epic is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be willing to float between medical-surgical units.
• Travelers may float between multiple units during shifts.
• Must be capable of working in stepdown units when required, including experience with cardiac drips and related practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience.
• Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must have a valid New Hampshire state nursing license in-hand at profile upload.
• Permanent address must be included in the traveler's profile.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle.

Compliance Requirements

All medical/occupational health compliance items must be collected, ordered, and results verified within 5 days of offer acceptance. Proofs must be uploaded to the designated system.

Requested Time Off

Any requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified upon profile upload; requests made after upload will not be approved. A maximum of 5 days is preferred.

Holiday Work Requirements

Travelers should expect to work during critical holiday periods, specifically:

• Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend
• New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the following weekend
