Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med Tele) – Kansas
Start Date: December 14, 2026
Location: Leawood, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48-hour guarantee; 3 shifts per week; at least every 3rd weekend
Highlights:
- 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4-5:1
- Diverse case mix including renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general medical-surgical patients
- Documentation system: Meditech – EBCD
- Unencumbered charge nurse and dedicated clinical educator support
- Team-oriented environment with strong focus on safety, quality, and documentation compliance
- Floating may be required to like units (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab)
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Kansas (or multi-state compact)
- ACLS, BLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications required
- Medical Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and quality outcomes
- Adherence to dress code: royal blue scrub tops; royal blue or black pants; grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirts
