Looking for a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
The unit is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage heavy patient loads.

Nurses will be expected to work with PCA pumps, manage sepsis cases, and administer IV antibiotics.
Experience with titratable drips per protocol is required.
Nurses will interpret telemetry strips; a telemetry monitor technician will be present for additional support.
Charge nurses may take a smaller patient assignment to assist as needed.
Nurse aides will also be available, though they may be pulled for other duties.
Shifts are 12 hours long, starting at 7 PM, with a schedule set 6 weeks in advance.
Every other weekend is required, along with participation in holiday rotations.
Floating to similar units is required, but nurses will not take patient loads if floated to higher acuity settings.
Dress code includes black scrubs.
There will be one orientation shift on the unit, which typically lasts between 12 to 14 hours.
The position involves high patient turnover, with 8 to 12 surgical admissions per day, along with discharges.
