**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Sumner Regional Medical Center, Gallatin, TN
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours with weekend block scheduling available
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional health care to patients in Gallatin, Hendersonville, and surrounding areas.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a 167-bed, Level III Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with a talented team of over 1,000 employees and 300 physicians.
- Care for a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older).
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for post-operative and trauma patients.
**Unit Characteristics:**
- **Department:** A6
- **Number of Beds:** 23
- **Patient Ratios:** 4-6 patients per nurse
- **EHR System:** Meditech
**Essential Qualifications:**
- Must have active TN RN license and required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Must be highly motivated, with excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
- Good assessment skills preferred.
**Personality Fit:**
- Hardworking and compassionate.
- Willing to ask questions when in doubt.
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Any.
- Unacceptable Attire: T-shirts must feature hospital logo; no acrylic nails.
**Additional Information:**
- Orientation conducted weekly on Mondays.
- All travelers must meet state-specific checks, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry, before assignment start date.
