Job Summary:
Nursing Professional specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry in a facility setting. This full-time position involves providing acute care to surgical and medical patients with telemetry monitoring, adhering to safety and clinical protocols, and preparing for required testing during onboarding.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Equivalent to a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience of at least 2 years, current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, CPR, ACLS, and Epic experience required. Must have been separated from the organization for 6 or more months and be in good standing to be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- A BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission.
- This unit does not have telemetry technicians; all RNs are required to read and interpret their own strips.
- Must pass ECG/telemetry and medication tests during onboarding with a score of at least 85%, on the first attempt.
- Testing will be administered via Zoom prior to acceptance; testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation.
- Only medical exemptions are accepted for flu vaccination.
- The facility provides care for various surgical patients with an overflow of medical patients.
