Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting for a 13-week assignment.
The position involves working 12-hour shifts during the day.
The candidate must have experience in cardiac care and telemetry.
First-time travelers with 2-3 years of experience will be considered.
The nurse may be asked to float between two different units based on the needs of the facility.
Every other weekend coverage is required.
The documentation system used is Cerner.
Patient population includes medical, surgical, and observation cases.
The team consists of Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, and other support staff.
Special procedures include monitoring through a video surveillance system.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5 during day shifts.
Flexibility to work in different units is essential.
Candidates should have experience with IV insulin protocols and managing cardiac drips.
Background evaluation will be done on a case-by-case basis.
