Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma setting while working collaboratively with a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Work within a team nursing model, effectively splitting caseloads among team members.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is necessary.
• Large hospital experience is preferred.
• A valid nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shifts available: Day, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00).
• Weekend shifts may be required as needed.
• Block scheduling is not available, but weekend blocks may be considered based on discussion during the interview.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission.
• Local candidates residing within a 100-mile radius will not be considered.
