Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in various units, including potential float assignments as needed.

Shifts

The position involves rotating shifts with the following schedule:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs, and while traveler preferences will be considered, rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical/surgical conditions.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assist with transition and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty.
Current, active Ohio nursing license or a valid compact state license.
AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is mandatory, with acceptable scores needed for continued employment.
