Job Summary:
Located in the region, this Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse position involves working in a hospital setting that features a trauma level I facility. The role encompasses a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, covering 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will float between ICU and Progressive Care Units as needed, providing care to patients with various medical and surgical needs, including telemetry monitoring. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and alignment with clinical standards.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), 2-5 years of ICU experience, trauma level I facility experience preferred, previous travel experience preferred, EPIC electronic health record experience required, current Massachusetts RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and successful completion of a tele test on the first day (pass/fail; failure could result in assignment termination).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level II settings is considered.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts totaling 36 hours each week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/02/2027.
- Travel and Float Requirements: Travel is not required; floating may be necessary as needed, though float is not explicitly required for this role.
- Additional Information: Facility is not accepting local candidates. Applicants must have been separated from the health care organization for 6 or more months to be eligible (including permanent, per diem, and travel roles).
