Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience necessary to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details

Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday; only one holiday request off will be accepted.

Unit Information

RNs may float between medical-surgical and telemetry units. The following staffing ratios will apply:

Medical-Surgical Ratio: 5:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 6:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Telemetry Ratio: 4:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 5:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
Monitor and assess patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Participate in self-scheduling, with considerations made for personal preferences.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN).
Current nursing license and certification in the state of practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
