Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) RN position in Iowa offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team. The role involves providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations, working night shifts, and floating across multiple campus locations. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in caring for all patient types within a fast-paced environment and have recent experience in medical surgical and telemetry nursing.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa or multi-state nursing license, at least 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Telemetry experience, proficiency in caring for all patient types, experience with Heparin, and BLS certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Health Record systems (EPIC), recent CHARGE or PRECEPT experience, and skills in telemetry/cardiac care highly preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran hospitals
- Additional Information: Orientation begins on 10/12/2026. The contract duration is from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027. Candidate must have completed at least one travel contract within the past 18 months and be able to work 1-2 of the upcoming holidays.
