Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Strong knowledge of dysrhythmias, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration
• Experience in acute care, med-surg nursing, or telemetry nursing preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flexibility to float to like units and overflow areas as needed
• Documented professional development activities preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and support individualized treatment plans
• Adapt quickly to different Med/Surg Tele floors within the float pool
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and safety standards
• Deliver dependable overnight patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
