Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for boarder patients in the Emergency Department
• Telemetry RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic experience required
• Must be able to complete and pass day 1 tele testing during onboarding
• Must be available to discuss time off at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for Med/Surg Tele boarding patients in the Emergency Department
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Support an average daily census of approximately 40 patients awaiting inpatient placement
• Maintain safe, efficient patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Work within typical patient ratios of approximately 5:1
• Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and strong patient outcomes
• Complete required onboarding education, practice tests, and compliance steps successfully
