Registered Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Location: Beverly, Massachusetts
• Start Date: January 11, 2027
• Assignment Length: 8-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours every two weeks, excluding on-call time
• Healthcare Setting: On-site medical-surgical telemetry unit

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Recent experience working with Epic electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong telemetry assessment, cardiac monitoring, clinical judgment, and prioritization skills
• Ability to complete required onboarding, competency, and electronic learning assessments
• Willingness to float to a nearby partner hospital location as needed

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during overnight shifts
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses
• Develop and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document clinical findings, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic
• Support patient education, care transitions, and discharge planning
• Maintain a collaborative, patient-centered approach while adapting to changing unit needs and floating requirements
