Registered Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Location: Beverly, Massachusetts
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care medical-surgical telemetry
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
• Contract Length: 8 weeks

• End Date: March 6, 2027
• Position Type: On-site contract nursing assignment

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Ability to successfully complete required onboarding, orientation, and competency assessments
• Willingness to float to a nearby affiliated hospital as needed
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Complete patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and patient education in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Recognize and promptly escalate changes in patient condition
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and coordination of ongoing patient care
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
• Float to a nearby affiliated hospital when operational needs require
