Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a general medical and surgical telemetry unit. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities. The shift is a 12-hour day shift scheduled from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour days, every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission, basic life support certification, utilization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems experience, and availability to start at least 4 weeks out. Medical Surgical experience and telemetry experience are preferred. Must be able to complete pass/fail testing including ECG/telemetry, medication testing, scheduled within 48 hours of tentative offer.
- Preferred Qualifications: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, current Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation experience, prior telemetry or Medical Surgical telemetry experience.
- Additional Information: The unit size is 49 beds, providing comprehensive care to adult and elderly patients with various acute conditions and multiple comorbidities. Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts RN license, and experience with Electronic Health Record systems is required. The start date is 10/05/2026, with an end date of 01/02/2027. Orientation is scheduled on a biweekly basis with interview and offer process managed accordingly.
