Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care within the designated unit, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient conditions accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Assist in patient education regarding medications and health management.
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as required.

Required Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Current Advanced Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (AHABLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of critical care paths.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a Dysrhythmia and Medication test with a minimum score of 85%; only one attempt allowed.

Orientation and Interview Process

Orientation for this position occurs biweekly. Candidates will be interviewed and offered the position directly by the Nurse Manager. Please provide your availability for interviews at the time of application.

• Local travelers are not accepted (those residing within 50 miles of the facility).

• Candidates must be separated from any previous positions with this organization for at least six months to be considered.
