Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care across multiple medical-surgical telemetry units, including floating to overflow areas as needed. The nurse will work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, and must be adaptable to various clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on medical-surgical telemetry floors.
• Float to various units as required, ensuring patient care continuity and safety.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Pass dysrhythmia and medication competency tests during onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg Telemetry.
• Ability to pass the Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Current AHABLS certification and ACLS certification required.
• Documented participation in professional development activities; charge nurse experience preferred.

Orientation and Interview Process

Orientation will occur biweekly. Candidates will be interviewed by the Nurse Manager prior to job assignment.

Additional Information

Candidates must be able to test and pass the required competency tests within 48 hours of receiving the job offer. A passing score of 85% is required, with no opportunity for remediation or retesting.
