Schedule Notes:(2) Night shifts. Will need to float to DOU (Difinitive Observation Unit) which is a requirement for all staff. Skills: Required: 3 years of experience. Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License). NIHSS. Possess and maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider:1. Basic Life Support (BLS) card. 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card. Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center. Depending on assignment incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment. Must have knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics.
