Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work night shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off, and will be responsible for patient care in a medicalsurgical telemetry setting.

Shift Information

• Shift: 4x12 hours, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7.
• Float between like units as necessary to meet facility needs.
• Provide care to patients with medical-surgical conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Current South Carolina or Compact nursing license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required.
• Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of all assigned training modules prior to the start date is required.
• Attendance at staff meetings is mandatory.
