Job Overview

This position is part of a float pool, requiring an adaptable and skilled individual to provide care in multiple units. The role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts, encompassing both day and night schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor patient telemetry and respond to significant changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with various medical procedures and treatments as directed by supervisors.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions, including weekly orientations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical telemetry unit.
• Strong telemetry experience is essential, with proficiency in managing multiple complex cases.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs across different units.

Additional Information

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and are limited to three days for the duration of the assignment. Holiday time off requests will not be approved.

This position offers an 8-week contract starting on January 4th.
