Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

The Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a float pool capacity. This position requires flexibility and adaptability as the RN will be utilized across multiple units based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer patient care in various medical-surgical telemetry departments.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure patient safety and effective care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Participate in weekly orientations and ongoing training sessions.
• Respond to patient needs and provide education as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong telemetry experience is essential for effective patient monitoring and care.
• Proven ability to float to multiple units and adapt to varying patient needs.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour rotating shifts, including both days and nights, starting on December 7th. The length of the assignment is 8 weeks. Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application and will be limited.

Additional Information
