Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in LTAC MS/Tele to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care to patients in the LTAC setting, focusing on medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and manage critical patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in rotation for on-call duties after hours and on weekends, supporting a 24/7 care model.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing, preferably in an LTAC setting.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required.
  • Experience in neuro care is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and participating in call rotation.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with support for weekend calls shared among 6 to 8 staff members.
