Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Med-Surg/Tele to join our Resource Pool. This position will primarily be allocated to one location but may require floating to other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the Med-Surg/Tele unit, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team swiftly.
• Perform and document patient assessments and administer medications per established protocols.
• Participate in the training and education of nursing staff and students as required.
• Flexibility to float to other units based on facility needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of experience; 1 year of experience may be considered.
• Must possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day of employment.
• Compliance with fit testing requirements, which may include shaving facial hair.

Additional Information

• Holiday scheduling is required: one holiday with two on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or two holidays with no on-call/additional shifts.
• Weekend availability is necessary based on operational needs.
• All requested time off must be included in the initial submission; subsequent requests will not be considered.
• Attendance policy: more than two shifts missed without reasonable explanation may lead to contract review.
