Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Float to similar units as required, ensuring continuity of care.
• Perform specialized procedures including post-heart catheterization, dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage (I&D) as needed.

Schedule

• Shifts: 4x12-hour nights from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Weekend coverage is required every other week, subject to change based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for at least one year.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience.

Medication Management

Familiarity with the Omnicell medication management system is required.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
