The unit has a total of 17 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4.
Our unit receives patients from various sources including emergency departments, intensive care units, clinics, outside facilities, and nursing homes.
We encounter a wide range of medical diagnoses such as diabetes, sickle cell crisis, COPD exacerbations, and end-stage renal disease with pulmonary hypertension.
The patient population may have wounds, drains, tubes, and other conditions.
Nights are the primary shift, with opportunities for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Longer assignments may be available through January 2, 2027.
Every other weekend is required, and candidates must work two out of the three winter holidays.
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Float policy adherence is a must.
Candidates may submit with VA licenses pending.
