Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for winter coverage. This position offers the opportunity to float to various units including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, providing care for similar patient populations. There is a possibility of managing patients on ventilators.

Contract Duration

  • 18 weeks for winter coverage
  • 13-week contracts also considered

Shift Details

  • Rotating shifts: 7pm - 7:30am or 7am - 7:30pm
  • Shifts may be variable based on operational needs; efforts made to honor preferred shifts

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty of Med/Surg Tele
  • Possession of a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
  • Must be able to work at least every other holiday

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, travelers will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to ensure competency in the necessary skills.
