Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specified specialty is required.
Travel experience is required.
Previous charge experience preferred.
Preferred trauma experience is with a Level I facility.
License:
Must hold an active Registered Nurse license that complies with the National Licensure Compact guidelines.
Certifications:
BLS certification is required.
NIHSS certification is preferred.
Must-Have:
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
Description:
This position involves working in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit.
The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:7 with team nursing support.
Higher ratios may occur, but additional help is available from Patient Care Coordinators and other nursing staff.
The position requires flexibility with weekend and on-call duties as needed.
Candidates must not have submitted to multiple job IDs or facilities to be considered.

The candidate must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Team nursing with RN, LPN, and PCT staff will be implemented on the unit.
