Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical surgical/telemetry team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar setting.
Candidates with experience at a level I trauma center are preferred.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care for patients with various medical conditions, utilizing a team nursing model.
The typical patient ratio is 1:12, but this effectively becomes 1:6-7 through team collaboration.
The position may involve working weekends and being on call as needed.
An understanding of EPIC charting systems is preferred, but not required.
Travel experience is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The position requires strong skills in managing patients with complex medical needs, including those in critical condition.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate proficiency in various healthcare techniques and patient management strategies.
