Job Opportunity – Medical/Telemetry RN – Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) – South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical/Telemetry unit. Choose between 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules. Weekend rotation with on-call support provided by a team of 6-8 staff members. On-call coverage after 5pm daily and weekends supported by primary and backup call technicians.
Highlights:
- Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting specializing in Medical/Telemetry with neurological patient population
- Daily census of approximately 15 adult and geriatric patients
- Contract length options: 13 to 26 weeks available
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
- Epic EMR system utilized for documentation
- Pre-assignment modules are reimbursable (up to 16 hours)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Telemetry experience required
- LTAC experience strongly preferred
- Neurological patient care experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience required
- Demonstrated competencies in: complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and tracheostomy care/management
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Must reside 50+ miles from facility (mileage-based compensation adjustments apply)
