Job Opportunity – Medical/Telemetry RN – Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) – South Carolina

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical/Telemetry unit. Choose between 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules. Weekend rotation with on-call support provided by a team of 6-8 staff members. On-call coverage after 5pm daily and weekends supported by primary and backup call technicians.

  • Daily census of approximately 15 adult and geriatric patients
  • Contract length options: 13 to 26 weeks available
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
  • Epic EMR system utilized for documentation
  • Pre-assignment modules are reimbursable (up to 16 hours)
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Telemetry experience required
  • LTAC experience strongly preferred
  • Neurological patient care experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience required
  • Demonstrated competencies in: complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and tracheostomy care/management
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
  • Must reside 50+ miles from facility (mileage-based compensation adjustments apply)
