Job Opportunity – Medical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Long Term Acute Care – South Carolina

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift on LTAC Medical/Telemetry unit; 36 or 48 hours per week available; weekend shifts included with rotating on-call coverage after 5pm daily and weekends supported by 6-8 staff members

Highlights:
  • Specialty focus on Long Term Acute Care Medical/Telemetry with neurological patient population
  • Daily census of approximately 15 patients; adult and geriatric age groups
  • Contract length options of 13 to 26 weeks available
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services
  • EPIC EMR system utilized; minimum 1 year EPIC experience required
  • Paid pre-assignment modules available (up to 16 hours reimbursement)
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Telemetry experience required
  • Neurological experience strongly required
  • Minimum 1 year experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • LTAC experience strongly preferred
  • Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management, complex wound care
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (full compensation at 100+ miles; adjusted rate at 50-99.9 miles)
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
