Job Summary:
The Healthcare Provider is seeking a qualified Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse for a critical access hospital in the en_US. This position involves caring for high-acuity patients in a 12-bed medical-surgical unit, with responsibilities including telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, respiratory support, and post-operative care for general surgery, orthopedics, and urology patients. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, variable shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan Registered Nurse license, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support Defibrillation (BLSD).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in telemetry, cardiac drips, respiratory support (such as heated high-flow), and post-op care for general surgery, orthopedics, and urology patients.
  • Responsibilities: Care for high-acuity patients or float to high-acuity units, work with CNAs and RN staff, support stabilization of acutely ill patients using ACLS guidelines, titrate Cardizem drips, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient transfers.
  • Submission Requirements: Professional: Munson Profile; Professional: Munson 2; Professional References.
  • Additional Information: Willingness to work on weekends, low census on-call utilization, and no guaranteed hours.
