Includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice. Adheres to the Nurse Practice Act, Code of Conduct, Mission and Values, and Service Standards. Unit features standard nursing equipment on a telemetry unit. Patient ratios range from 4-6:1. Type of patients on the unit includes both medical and telemetry adults. Looking for a team player who cares about positive patient outcomes and values superior communication. Weekend and holiday work is a standard expectation, with every other full weekend required and at least one of the major winter holidays. Night shift orientations will be conducted on day shift.
