Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: 2+ years Telemetry experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Telemetry. The role involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. The position functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice. Intermediate patient ratios are estimated to be 4-6:1. The unit is equipped with standard nursing equipment found on a Telemetry unit. A team player is essential, with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills. The dress code requires black scrubs, with specified unacceptable attire outlined. Candidates should be prepared to work every other full weekend and at least one major winter holiday. Traveler orientation may be conducted on days prior to starting shifts. Requested time off may be granted, subject to approval.
