Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 1845-0715; 36 or 48-hour contracts available; 1:6 patient ratio; Every other weekend required

- Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and social services
- Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
- BLS and NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, remote telemetry monitoring, and use of rapid response/code teams
- Proficiency in IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, wound care, and feeding tube management
- Experience with respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
- Must be available to work during catastrophic events and be assigned to storm/hurricane teams as needed
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Ability to work 2 of 3 major holidays
