Experience: Minimum of 12 months in specialty applying for required.
License: Permanent state license or compact state license required.
Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
Must-Have:
12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required.
Must have state license in hand at time of submission.
One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
Description:
An opportunity for a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse is available.
The nurse will monitor patients with seizure disorders.
The role may require floating to care for the same patient population.
Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.
Nurses must work at least every other holiday.
The nurse will complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
An acceptable score on both assessments is required for competency.
There are limitations on background checks and previous cases.
The facility will not accept any license hits or open cases.
A drug screen is required within 12 months of the start.
This includes a nicotine test for travelers.
Permanent candidates cannot return for one year from their previous end date.
Candidates have the option to extend contracts, with certain break requirements.
Annual competency must be completed for continuous contracts.
Modules required may take several hours to complete and may be billable.
All certifications must be active and presented at the time of submission.
