Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the 3 East Med/Surg/Tele unit will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients who meet medicine or med tele admission criteria. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of Med Surg Tele experience and demonstrate a higher level of proficiency due to the complexities of the unit.

Responsibilities

Care for patients in a Med/Surg/Tele unit.
Ensure adherence to medication administration protocols and patient safety standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.

Mandatory Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg Tele experience.
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
1-2 years of Med Surg or Tele experience.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required for this position. Candidates must be prepared to work a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
