# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – South Dakota

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Straight nights with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Acute care setting.

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a busy Labor & Delivery unit providing comprehensive obstetric care
• Epic charting system for streamlined documentation and patient care coordination
• Work within an inter-professional team including physicians and specialists across the care continuum
• Opportunity to utilize the full scope of nursing practice in preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Navy blue scrubs provided; badging in and out required for security and compliance
• 12-hour cancellation allowance per 13-week period

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or eligibility to obtain
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules for the state of practice
• Candidates who have previously worked with this healthcare organization must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
