Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

A rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg and Telemetry is available. This position involves working on a Cardiac unit and requires proficiency in handling various cardiac drips.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac unit.
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while monitoring health status.
• Adhere to established protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, compact or state-specific, active and in good standing.
• Experience in Cardiac care with proficiency in cardiac drip medications.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certifications.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7.
• Availability for block scheduling and commitment to working every other weekend (EOW).

Working Conditions

This role involves night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable time.

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination is required, except for individuals with a documented religious or medical exemption. Flu vaccination is also required unless there is a documented exemption.
