Position Overview

This role involves providing nursing care in a general internal medicine unit, focusing on telemetry and acute care for patients. The position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: Days 0700-1930 and Nights 1900-0730
• Rotation includes every other weekend and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of acute care experience within the last three years
• EPIC experience is required
• A valid Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license is necessary
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Successful completion of a telemetry test prior to starting the position

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be expected to:

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the general internal medicine unit
• Utilize telemetry for continuous patient monitoring
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Participate in patient and family education
